They are broadly interested in feminist science studies, biopolitics, disability studies, theories of space, and comparative studies of settler colonialism. Their proposed dissertation research aims to examine how social inequality is inscribed on individual and collective bodies through inflammation, or the body's immune-mediated response to infection and injury. Before starting their medical and graduating training, they worked in HIV research and prevention services, and they continue to work part-time in harm reduction.
